Woman Falls 20 Feet Down Steep Embankment Near Squilchuck Road

A woman fell about 20 feet down an embankment while walking her dog near an orchard on Squilchuck Road Thursday afternoon, suffering what may be severe injuries.

Sergeant Kent Sisson with Chelan County Emergency Management said that although not much is known about her current condition, she was knocked unconscious by the fall and had to be intubated by medical personnel.

The 26-year-old woman was transported to Central Washington Hospital.
