Yakima Man Injured in Rollover Accident Off Sunset Highway
A 35-year-old Yakima man was injured in a single-car accident on Sunset Highway after he left the road, crossed over a retaining wall and came to rest in someone's backyard.
State Patrol Trooper John Bryant says the driver, Steven Graham, originally tried to flee the scene.
"The Trooper did also take Mr. Graham into custody for DUI. [Graham] also didn't want to initially give his identification which is a criminal charge."
Graham was also driving on a suspended license.
Bryant says Graham wasn't done.
"[He] was in the aid car with two medics. He tried to physically assault them, but ended up verbally assaulting them, threatening to kill them and their families, so those are big no-nos."
A passenger in the vehicle did flee the scene, but later contacted law enforcement.
35-year-old Lucille Harris was wanted on multiple warrants, but the jail would not talk her, so she provided a statement regarding the incident.
