Body Found in Quincy Tuesday

Quincy police and the Grant County Coroner's Office are investigating the discovery of a dead body Tuesday.

According to the Quincy Police Department, officers responded to the 300 block of H Street Southwest in the late afternoon after the body of an adult Hispanic male was found.

Although the death is being term 'suspicious', the body does not seem to have any obvious signs of death. The body has now been turned over to the coroner's office for an autopsy.

Quincy police said the incident appears to be isolated and there are no safety concerns to the public.
