Cashmere’s Holiday Tradition is Near
Cashmere Chamber of Commerce is in the holiday spirit and invites the community to celebrate the season at the free Christmas in Cashmere event on December 7th. From noon-3, Cottage Avenue will be the hub for holiday fun with multi-indoor holiday bazaars, warm beverages and a Santa appearance.
"Christmas in Cashmere starts earlier (in the season) to allow visitors and locals to celebrate the holiday season in Cashmere," said Gina Imperato, chamber manager.
Mr. and Mrs. Claus will be available for free photos from 12:30-2:30 along with a kids craft stations to keep little ones preoccupied. Not only will Santa be in attendance, but a reindeer and Cashmere Royalty will stop by the site.
"So if you're interested in holiday bazaars, we'll have multiple going on downtown, we have activities for the kids, we have free drinks, cozy around the firepits, live entertainment and plenty of free crafts," said Imperato.
Parking for the event will be at the city lot located near Cashmere Baptist Church and the public lot located on Elberta Street. Cottage Avenue between Aplets Way and Woodring Street will be closed between the hours of 10 am - 4 pm.
