Police Break Up Fight, Recover Guns In East Wenatchee

East Wenatchee police were called to reports of a large fight in the early morning hours on Sunday

Chief Rick Johnson said at 4:55am, East Wenatchee Police responded to a report of an incident involving 15 to 20 people in the 200 block of 2nd St. SE.

Officers were able to defuse the conflict and detained the individuals involved.

A vehicle believed to be related to the incident was impounded, and a search warrant was served, leading to the discovery of three firearms.

Johnson said a 20-year-old male and an 18-year-old male were arrested, and charges included disorderly conduct, possession of a controlled substance, and obstruction.

Possible charges over the firearms recovered from the vehicle are under review.
