Everybody Walks Campaign Means Extra Patrols
Even though graduation this weekend won't happen in the traditional sense, local law enforcement is still conducting their annual "Everybody Walks" campaign.
Normally the goal would be to ensure that all seniors are able to walk at their graduation and are not victims of tragic accidents or situations that have historically happened due to parties or campouts with alcohol.
Officials say they are still expecting some of those to happen throughout the week and weekend so they are adding extra patrols focused on DUI, Reckless and Negligent Driving, and carrying passengers outside vehicles.
