The Grant County International Airport, located in Moses Lake, received a $10 million grant from the Federal Aviation Administration through its Airport Improvement Program. Our news partner, iFiberone, reports U.S. Senator Maria Cantwell made the announcement Wednesday and will be appropriated toward safety improvements. The airport was also the recipient of funds for over $9.9 million in September. That money was funneled into the runway's line of sight issue and updating the airport's runway lighting into FAA compliance.
