Those driving down Stratford Road near Maple Drive just outside of Moses Lake might have noticed a heavy Grant County Sheriff's Office presence around 1:00 pm Wednesday.

PIO Kyle Foreman said deputies were looking for Michael Cera Barajas who was a suspect in a possible domestic violence incident and had outstanding warrants.

"We had a lot of resources out there." stated Foreman, "(The incident) was publicly obvious. We wanted to warn the public about Barajas running around, but we also wanted to solicit the help from the public that if they had seen him to call us."

A homeowner eventually spotted Barajas and called 9-1-1.

Barajas was taken into custody without incident and charges are pending.
