Housing Situation Frustrates Home Seekers
An informal survey conducted by Our Valley Our Future shows that Wenatchee Valley residents are frustrated with housing availability and prices. Ninety percent of respondents said the Valley needed more choices in terms of types of housing for rent or purchase.
In addition, 77 percent of those responding don't believe the housing market can correct itself without additional community involvement. In terms of housing for rent or purchase, the biggest challenge, according to the survey, is inadequate supply of options.
