Lakeview Drive-In Closing Temporarily

The Lakeview Drive-in restaurant in Chelan has closed temporarily beginning today citing concerns over an increasing number of positive COVID-19 tests in the county along with larger than normal numbers of tourists.

In a letter to the community, the owners say they are encouraging their employees to take stock of their and their families health for a couple of weeks.

There has not been an outbreak at the restaurant, and they've had only one person test positive nearly a month ago and they went through the protocols to return to work.

The goal for reopening, according to the letter, is Thursday, August 27th as long as there are less people and COVID numbers are trending in the right direction.
