Leavenworth Dog Attack, Animal Control Seeking Dog Owner

Animal Care and Control received a report of two dogs attacking another dog near the waterfront park in Leavenworth Sunday afternoon.

According to communications officer, Renee Parkins, the reporting party identified the two dogs that attacked her dog as two fawn and cream colored Husky-type dogs with collars, but off leash. The dogs were with a Caucasian woman presumed to be the owner.

"The parties were able to separate the dogs, but the woman with the attacking dogs by bike before the woman could get any contact information," said Parkins.

The reporting party stated the bike was black with orange or camel colored saddlebag pouches on the back. She was last seen by the Obertal Mall.
