Grant County Sheriff's deputies and Moses Lake Police officers arrested a 43-year-old Moses Lake man after a 20-minute chase early Friday morning.

It began with a burglary that took place on Maple Dr. around 2:00 a.m. with a woman saying a person broke into a trailer and left in a van. A Deputy saw the van and attempted to stop it which prompted the chase. Eventually the vehicle was stopped by spike strips. The passenger broke their window and fled the scene.

The driver, 43-year-old Kevin Beamish was taken into custody and will face multiple charges including an existing warrant for assault.

Also, Moses Lake Police arrested four people Friday in connection to an October 27th robbery of the Airport Grocery Mart on Patton Blvd.

Law enforcement says two teenagers, entered the store and threatened the clerk with butcher knives while two additional teenagers acted as lookouts. Three of the suspects, including 18-year-old Uriel Sanchez Serrano, were taken into custody as they were trying to break into a car when a Moses Lake Police Officer saw them Thursday afternoon. The fourth suspect was arrested Friday morning.

All four are charged with first degree robbery.

Detectives are also investigating possible connections to an Oct. 2nd robbery at the same store.
