No one is injured from a plane crash at Mission Ridge Sunday afternoon.

Chelan County Sheriff's Sgt. Brent Frank says his office went to the scene just before 5 p.m.

"There were two occupants," said Frank. "They put it down in some trees. There were no injuries miraculously. The Sgt. who went up there did an investigation and gave them a ride back to town."

The plane took off from Boeing Field in Seattle.

It was a 41-year-old Cessna 172 that was destroyed after crashing at Mission Ridge.

The plane crash was not related to the brush fire that also started Sunday afternoon.
