One Arrested From Wednesday Night East Wenatchee Shooting

A victim has non-life-threatening injuries after being shot Wednesday Night in East Wenatchee.

Sgt. Ben Fauconnier report a 42-year-old Wenatchee man was taken to a hospital after being shot at about 7:45 near the East Wenatchee 7-Eleven at 9th and Valley Mall Parkway.

Officers says they then found 54-year-old Sidney Van Dyke of East Wenatchee about a half hour later sitting in his car near Grant Elementary School.

Van Dyke was arrested without resistance and taken to jail on two counts of First Degree Assault.

The victim was shot one time in the chest. The shooting is still under investigation.
