A head-on collision resulted in one fatality and three injured Friday afternoon north of Moses Lake. According to Grant County Sheriff's Office public information officer, Kyle Foreman, Max Taylor, 75, was driving a 2013 Dodge Avenger east on Road 7, just west of Road K-Northeast.

"We believed he suffered some type of medical emergency which caused him to cross the centerline," said Foreman. "He collided with a Ford F-150 pickup which was carrying three juveniles."

Taylor passed away at Samaritan Healthcare and the three teenagers, including the 16 year old driver, were injured and transported to Samaritan Healthcare.

Drugs and alcohol are not believed to be a factor. Both drivers and one of the passengers were wearing seatbelts at the time of the collision. The Grant County Sheriff’s Office Motor Traffic Unit is investigating the collision.
