Over 20 Shots Fired in Moses Lake Shooting Sunday

Moses Lake police detectives are searching for suspects and a tan or gold car after a shooting in the 1300 block of Marina Drive Sunday afternoon.

Patrol officers received reports around 5:15pm of two cars firing at each other on Marina Drive. One of which, a red passenger car, was said to have multiple holes in it.

Sergeant Adam Munro said officers soon located the red passenger car and its three occupants just outside of town on Road L.

"They advised that they were traveling westbound on Marina Drive when a tan passenger car with approximately 4 occupants approached their area and started firing at them." explained Munro, "One of the individuals in the red passenger car was armed at the time and returned fire on the gold passenger car."

None of the occupants in either car are believed to have been injured. Detectives found more than 20 shell casings of two different calibers in the road.

No arrests have been made and no suspects have been identified. The incident is believed to be gang related.
