Investigators say Valdez had been traveling by car with her family from St. John to Yakima when she suddenly demanded to be let out of the vehicle so she could make her way to Spokane instead.

Valdez was last seen on foot after exiting the vehicle wearing a green shirt underneath a white hoodie, blue jeans, and pink shoes. She is described as being Latino, standing 5'0" tall and weighing approximately 150 pounds, with dark hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Valdez or who thinks they might have seen her is being asked to contact the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office at 509-725-3501.
