Sandoval's Market in the 400 block of South Frontage Road East in George was robbed at gunpoint Friday afternoon around 1:00 pm and deputies are still searching for the suspect.

PIO Kyle Foreman said the suspect is a Hispanic male in his early 20's, standing 5'5" and weighing roughly 145 lbs. He was dressed in a gray hooded sweatshirt, dark-colored pants, and a black mask. The suspect was armed with a black handgun.

"After robbing the store, he left on foot running south into the community of George." detailed Foreman, "Washington State Troopers, Grant County Sheriff's Deputies, and Quincy Police all set up containment on the area and a K9 was sent to track the suspect. The scent was lost, and it is believe that the suspect may have had a vehicle waiting for him."

There were no injuries. The amount of cash taken by the unknown robber is being withheld for the investigation.
