Shooting Saturday Night Damages Quincy Vehicles, Home

Quincy Police are asking the public for any information regarding a shooting Saturday night that caused a good amount of property damage.

According to the department, officers responded to several 9-1-1 calls just after 9:45 pm reporting gunshots heard in the area of 3rd Avenue Southeast and J Street Southeast. When officers arrived they located several casings in the intersection, but the suspects had fled the area prior to law enforcement's arrival. Detectives were called to the scene.

No injuries were reported, however, a number of vehicles, one boat, and one house were hit by gunfire. No suspects have been arrested. Anyone with information on the shooting is asked to please call the MACC dispatch non-emergency number (509)762-1160 or Quincy PD at (509)787-4718 or (509)787-2222.
