Apartment Fire on 9th Street in Wenatchee

Firefighters are actively responding to an apartment fire on 9th Street in Wenatchee.

Wenatchee Valley Fire Department Chief Brian Brett said crews responded to the 1100 block of 9th Street just after 3:30 p.m. to a call for smoke in the area. The call was quickly upgraded to a commercial structure fire.

Fire Response and Search Efforts

Upon arrival, crews discovered an apartment building on fire with two units involved. The apartment complex consists of 10 buildings, each with four apartments.

Crews are currently attacking the interior in two units, extinguishing fire and looking for pets and residents.
