A video of Saturday's fatal police shooting in Wenatchee is now on social media.

The footage appears to be shot from Memorial Park, which was the site of the Apple Blossom Festival, and is across the street from the church, where the shooting occurred.

Numerous rapid fire shots are heard near the end of the short video after the man at the church is confronted by two officers.

The man, who still has not been identified, fell immediately to the ground, while one of the officers appears to stumble as the video ends.

Detectives investigating the shooting have confirmed the man was shot dead while the officer suffered non-life-threatening injuries in the leg.

The entire video lasts 58 seconds, and the camera tends to wobble a bit with the wind.

The man's hands, and anything he might be holding, cannot be clearly seen. At least one eye witnessed interviewed by KPQ believed both sides fired shots, although the witness said they did not know who fired first.

The video was posted Monday on Facebook.

The shooting took place at about 8:30 am Saturday.

Police were called to the scene after 9-1-1 calls described a man who was angrily shouting in the direction of the church, and then shot at the church front doors with a gun.
