Washington State Apple Blossom Festival Top Ten Process Next Week

Thirty-seven candidates from Eastmont and Wenatchee High School will go before five out of town judges in a virtual Washington State Apple Blossom Festival Top Ten process this year.

Festival Administrator Darci Christoferson said next Monday at 3:00 pm is the 'Get To Know You Session', which counts towards 15% of the judges' vote. The candidates will then present a 2-3 minute speech next Tuesday starting at 10:00 am, which is good for 85% of the vote.

"The announcement of the Top Ten will also be live, and that's on Tuesday night at 6:00 pm." said Christoferson, "It goes really quick, so you need to tune in (early). It literally takes ten minutes."

The Top Ten will then prepare for the February 27th pageant, where the 2021 Queen and two Princesses will be chosen.
