West Cashmere Bridge Closure Begins Monday, Power Line Work Could Cause Delays

Highway 2 will have some road work that could interrupt traffic beginning Monday.

The closure of the West Cashmere Bridge begins Monday and will result in the closure of the Goodwin Road exit in the eastbound direction.

The closure is expected to last until fall of 2021.

Also, on Wednesday, May 6th, a Chelan PUD contractor will be taking down utility lines which will require temporary closures of Highway 2 that could last up to 20 minutes.

That day will also see reduced speed limits in the Hay Canyon area.
